What To Expect
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.
Meet the Team
Hyun Joon “Elisha” Cho
Lead Pastor
Born in South Korea and raised in the United Kingdom, Elisha has called New England home for over 15 years. He leads with a Spirit-led, missional heart — passionate about discipleship, hungry to see the lost found, and convinced the local church still changes everything.
Elisha is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene with an M.Div. and Th.M. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a PhD in Christian Leadership from Liberty University. Beyond the pulpit, he creates content on YouTube as an extension of his mission to reach the lost — and when he's not studying or preaching, you'll find him on the pickleball court, the golf course, or adventuring through New England with his wife Sarah and their three kids.

Natane Briceno
Ministry Intern
Born and raised in Brazil, Natane has called Danvers home since 2019, when she married her husband, Ish, and became part of the Danvers Church of the Nazarene. She now serves as a Ministry Intern, stepping into her pastoral calling with a heart for discipleship, teaching, and walking alongside others in their faith.
Natane serves across multiple ministries, including Women’s Ministry, Kids Ministry, and Production/Media, and finds great joy in seeing people grow in their relationship with God and feel deeply connected to the church community. Her life has been marked by God’s faithfulness, especially in overcoming lifelong struggles with depression and anxiety, and she carries a strong desire to share that hope with others.
Outside of ministry, Natane and Ish enjoy spending time outdoors exploring trails and parks and taking road trips to places like New York and Maine.

Laurie Flagg
Office Manager
Born and raised in Everett, Massachusetts, Laurie has followed the Lord since her teenage years, with a lifelong desire to walk faithfully with Him. In 2023, she stepped out in faith and moved to the North Shore, where she found a church home at Danvers Church of the Nazarene.
Laurie has a deep heart for people and a passion for serving those in need. In 2025, God placed on her heart a vision to help others, which led to the growth of the church’s food pantry ministry—now a meaningful space where families are served with both practical support and prayer.
She is a proud mother, grandmother, and now part of a blended family after marrying her husband, John, in 2025. Laurie currently serves as Office Manager and is committed to caring for the church family with compassion, prayer, and a servant’s heart.
